Kovalam is indeed a pure depiction of its name which means coconut trees. This small town is packed with a large number of coconut trees is located in the south of the Indian state Kerala. This city is mainly able to catch eyes due to the presence of Kovalam Beach which is visited by a large number of travellers due to its shallow waters and low tides. Kovalam was able to gain recognition in the year 1920 when a beach resort was constructed here by the Queen Sethu Lakshmi Bayi.
