Garuda is a small town situated in the South-east of Nepal. This town lies in the Rautahat District of the Narayani Zone. Garuda is also home to “Shree Ram Sugar Mills” which is one of the country’s largest sugar mill. It also houses a small yet beautiful Shiva Mandir which is also an important sacred place for the locals.
Flying to Garuda: Simara Airport (65.8 km away) is the closest airport to Birganj. It provides domestic flights to Kathmandu only.
