Also called Sankhu famous for its ancient Sankha-shaped town structure. It is believed that siddhas of India stayed in the caves of Sankharapur hence it is also known as “Eighty Caves”. The first king of Sankhu named Sankhdev has built the town in the shape of a conch shell. It is also called the site of the month-long worship to the God Madhav Narayan. Men and women spend 30 days fasting and worshipping lord Narayan.
