Ajmer which was earlier known as Ajayamery is located in the state of Rajasthan, It is the significant oldest areas of the state. Bounded by the mounts of Aravali, the city was built by the king Ajayraja II. This city which houses the “Ajmer Sharif Dargah”- a holy place dedicated to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, observes immense crowds and pilgrims who come to worship at this place.
